As President Obama enters the home stretch of his 10-day trip to Asia he is already foreshadowing the contentious debate over taxes that awaits him back at home. Speaking to reporters at the G-20 summit in Seoul, South Korea, he reiterated his position that the George W. Bush tax cuts should be extended for the middle class but that he was open to compromise with Republicans when it comes to cuts for the upper-income Americans. “I continue to believe that extending permanently the upper-income tax cuts would be a mistake and that we can't afford it," Obama said....
